Join us on Thursday October 8th, 2020 from noon until 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. We will hear from subject matter experts Kevin Henry, Diversity Inclusion Coordinator at SOUND HEALTH and Jesse Rhodes, Diversity and Inclusion champion at AMAZON.
We will begin the session by reviewing what we discussed on August 13th about the Black Lives Matter movement and then dive into how we as fundraising professionals working with the corporate sector can support the cause. Ideas like the ones listed below and more will be explored:
- Recruiting ethnically diverse board members
- Creating a mentoring program that will attract diverse staff members
- Aligning with businesses that have adopted and practice diversity, inclusion and equity policies with their employees and customers
